Chelsea are set to suffer a huge transfer market setback as they might lose both Eden Hazard and Diego Costa in the summer.
Hazard has been constantly linked with a move to Real Madrid with the Galacticos confident that they can persuade the Belgian to join them in a £100m deal.
Real president, Florentino Perez, has made it clear that he will like to sign an attacking player this summer – identifying Hazard as the perfect man for the job.
The Belgian had a wonderful season at Chelsea was the heartbeat of the team that lifted the Premier League title in style. But Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, has admitted that he would be powerless if Hazard decides to leave in the summer.
And on the other hand, Costa’s future at the club is hanging on a tight rope. The Spaniard revealed that the manager had messaged him that he was no longer needed at the club. Costa said he has forwarded the message to the Chelsea management and it was up to them to make a decision.
Speaking to the media after Spain’s match against Macedonia, Costa said that he would like to move back to Atletico Madrid.
But that would be easier said than done due to the transfer embargo on Atletico. He also ruled out a possible move to China because of his ambitions of playing in the next World Cup.
Now until Chelsea make a decision about Costa’s future, his future remains in limbo.
