Tottenham Hotspur winger, Moussa Sissoko, has reportedly admitted that he wants to leave the club in the summer after ‘worst season of my life’.
Sissoko has had a woeful first season at Tottenham, only starting eight Premier League games for Tottenham in the 2016/2017 season and failed to score meaning he was not influential in the sides title push and many Spurs supporters would perhaps like to see Sissoko leave in the summer.
Reports started about Sissoko’s departure when French manager Didier Deschamps said that Sissoko needed to start performing and playing regularly or the winger would not make the French World Cup squad for 2018.
Sissoko was reported saying he hoped Tottenham would not block a transfer and believes the £30 million fee Spurs paid to Newcastle United last summer will not be a problem if offers are made for the French international. Sissoko was also quoted saying that he needed to get to the World Cup.
Sissoko has been included in France’s current squad for international games against Paraguay, Sweden and England in June.
