Another big week in the Premier League as we are hurtling towards the busy Christmas period. I have absolutely no idea whose going to win the league as any one of five teams are in with a shot. Before we go on a follow on Twitter @cameroneyles (https://mobile.twitter.com/cameroneyles) would be great. On with the predictions.

The title favourites come up against the league leaders in what promises to be a fiery encounter. Usually, when two top teams go at it, I’ll predict a 1-1 draw, but this time I’m sticking my neck on the line and go for a Chelsea win. They’re playing so well, and even perennial underachievers like Victor Moses have transformed into a player of the season contenders. City’s defence is not good enough yet, and I think Chelsea will exploit it.

Palace were part of that exciting 5-4 last weekend (a match that I predicted would finish 0-0) but lost to Swansea. Alan Pardew is in real trouble, and it doesn’t get easier as his side face a solid Southampton. I’m backing Saints for this one given Palace’s terrible form and non-existent defence. I’d also back Pardew to be spending Christmas unemployed.
follow Stoke vs. Burnley
This one just has 0-0 written all over it. Stoke have improved over the last couple of months while Burnley need to start picking up points away from home. Both teams are relatively solid, and I expect them to cancel each other out and a pretty drab match to play out.
