Real Madrid are no longer interested in Harry Kane and have instead turned their attention towards Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski according to The Daily Mail.
It was being reported that Spurs striker Harry Kane was a target for Madrid, but the Spanish giants have been put off the £200 million price tag.
The English striker has managed another impressive season in the Premier League, scoring 24 goals in the league and 35 goals in all competitions.
Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy, has previously said that they would reject bids lower than £300 million, and this has seemed to do the trick as it has managed to end Madrid’s interest in the 24-year-old.
Sources in Spain also reported that Madrid aren’t keen on Kane’s ‘introverted personality’ would make it hard for him to settle at Real.
With Madrid seemingly no longer interested in Kane, Los Blancos are now chasing Polish striker Lewandowski.
The Daily Mail stated that ‘Madrid are believed to have already reached an agreement with Lewandowski’s agent.’ However, it’s understood that negotiations between the Bayern and Madrid have not yet started.
Like Kane, 29-year-old Lewandowski has had a strong campaign netting on 32 occasions this season.
However, understandably Bayern are reluctant to sell Lewandowski. The former Dortmund striker has been instrumental in Bayern’s recent domestic dominance.
