The summer transfer window saw Premier League clubs let loose with their new influx of television money which led to transfer fees skyrocketing yet again.
Over £1.4 billion was spent by Premier League clubs on recruits, averaging to £72m per club; a considerable increase compared to previous years.
269 players joined Premier League clubs while 270 were shown the door by their respective clubs.
Some transfers have worked, some have not.
We pick out the top ten Premier League signings of the summer so far (in no particular order)…
ALVARO MORATA – CHELSEA (£60M FROM REAL MADRID)
Chelsea broke their transfer record to bring Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid as they looked to defend their Premier League title under Antonio Conte. He has been an instant success at Stamford Bridge, netting eight goals in his first ten Premier League appearances as well as registering four assists.
