Daniel Sturridge is open to the idea of a loan move to Inter Milan to boost his playing time ahead of the 2018 World Cup according to the Daily Mail.

Due to the strength of their attack, the Liverpool striker has found himself out-of-favour under Jurgen Klopp this season and finds himself beneath Dominic Solanke and Danny Ings in the pecking order.

With many other English forwards finding regular game time and hitting the back of the net, Sturridge could face missing out of Gareth Southgate’s England World Cup squad for Russia in just a few months’ time.

The former Chelsea forward is open a loan move and has offered his services to Inter Milan in order to prove his fitness and form to Southgate.

Liverpool are believed to willing to offload the 28-year-old permanently, but a temporary move away from Anfield could increase the amount of interest in his signature.

Sturridge has scored four goals in 13 appearances so far this season and would rival Mauro Icardi for the striker position at the San Siro.
